I have worn Keds for over 40 years - canvas and leather walking Keds. They are my signature! My grandkids all want Grandma Cherie shoes - from 4 to 16 yrs! I have black polkadot, tan, white and black.

I needed to replace my old sneakers, and LOVE the sneakers that arrived on my doorstep after school today. When I tried on the Champion style at a store, they felt a little bit less supportive than I would have liked, and they also came down much lower. But, the Double-Dutch are more supportive, and the curve reaches higher (so one can wear normal socks with them) which makes the fit more similar to Converse. I recommend these over the Champion style of Keds. Also, these fit my feet perfectly and look exactly like the zoomed in picture.

Too bad they don't make all sizes in all colors. I wear a 12 narrow and all they have are the basic boring colors--white, black, navy, red and tan. BORING!!!!

I have always loved Keds. The Double Dutch shoe seems to give more support and comfort than the Champion Style. I only wish it came in white (but I love the black and white dot).

Very cute sneakers but they could have more support.A few years ago Keds made beautiful colored sneakers with a collar in the ankle and lots of support. They need to do this again. Until they do I will buy the Grasshopper which have all of this. Not comfortable enough.Just cute.
