Nice shoes but maybe not tough enough

My 23 month old son looks cute in these shoes and seems to find them comfortable! I like them because the are easy to coordinate with casual and dressier outfits. However, Charlie has worn them for a week and they are looking old fast. The navy rubber trim on the outside of the shoe (wraps around the white area of the sole) is coming off on one of his shoes. Overall I'm still happy with them but will probably have to replace them faster than I have had to replace other shoes, and will not be able to consign them, because of their appearance. Bottom line, toddlers are rough on shoes.

Too stiff-soled for new walkers

I'm about to send back the keds I ordered for my grandson. He's a new walker, and they're just not flexible enough.
They're as cute as can be, and I'm heartbroken that I can't keep them, and I definitely will re-order larger ones when he's older, but for now, they just don't work.
It seems as if they have one machine that forms the same thickness soles for all their shoes, no matter what size they are. It seems they are somewhat cognizant of the problem. because they do cut vertical slices in the soles of these little ones to help them bend, it seems, and for older toddlers that would probably be fine, but as I say, they're too stiff for a new walker.

I was so excited to find this available online, especially when I could not find it locally in stores. I love the way it looks on my little boy and he loves the way he can run and play comfortably in them. Wish there were more colors! Also loved how quickly they arrived after we ordered them.

I bought these sneakers for my younger grandson who is just trying to walk. He still needs to grow a bit to fit into them, but I know from experience that these will last hiim until he outgrows them. I bought him the red ones and they are as cute as can be! He wants to wear them now, but they are still a touch long. I look forward to seeing him walk around in his new red Keds!

I love the navy Keds for everyday wear for my little boy. He's 16 mos., I ordered the 5W, it's a good fit but would be better if the Wide were just a little bit wider. He loves wearing them and walks in them with ease. I'm glad I went with this shoe!

I have twin grandsons that are 2 years old. This was the first "big boy" shoes we bought them when they started walking. They loved them immediately. We have just purchased our third set and will buy more when these are outgrown. Very comfortable on the boys and fit is excellent. We have always bought the navy, because it is good with causal or dressier clothes.

Functional aspects of the design need improvement.
As some others have noted, the tongue is stitched down on either side, a bit too high up into the shoe, restricting it, resulting in a shoe that is much more difficult to get on than need be, particularly for a toddler shoe.

My Description: versitile, flexible, adorable

This shoe has been absolutely perfect for my 11 month old son! He was a very early walker (8 months) and it has been hard to find flexible soled shoes for running around outside. These shoes have a flexible yet sturdy sole that bends well with a toddlers foot. They are exceptionally durable and he has yet to scuff them up though he seems to enjoy trying to scuff them. I have also found them easy to clean (my son lives mud). The best part of these shoes however is that they will be the only pair he needs in this size as they look great with sweats, jeans, and dress pants!

Wonderful shoe; however, had to return. It was very difficult to put on having high in-step. The sewn band across the top of the laces should be higher. This is where the problem was. Just very hard to get on. Will order again when the foot is larger and maybe thinner.
